Tri County Fair
The Tri-County Fair is entering its 104th year of existence. What started in 1920 as a 4-H/open class exhibit at the old courthouse in Petersburg has evolved into an annual exhibit of agriculture, horticultural, floriculture, livestock, home economics, and art. These exhibits plus non-profit organizations, commercial exhibitors and vendors, coupled with a variety of entertainment, events and a varied midway makes the fair one of the finest county fairs in the state of West Virginia.
Located at 107 Rig Street, Petersburg, WV the fair provides good ole fashioned family entertainment while offering something that appeals to everyone. Parades, Live Entertainment, Carnival Rides and Food, Livestock Shows, Pageants, and more…. Check out the website for a full list of fair activities and events.
Renegade Monster Trucks
Monster Truck Fans, you've seen them on TV, now it's time to see them in person! This is the Renegade Rundown, where you can learn about everything the Renegade Monster Truck Tour has to offer during one of our action packed events! Featuring over two hours of horsepower driven, family-fun entertainment, each Renegade Monster Truck Tour event is sure to leave you in awe of the mechanical marvels you'll watch compete for points and bragging rights through a series of challenging and exciting competitions. In over 12,000lb Monster Trucks that are powered by an over 1,500hp blown-alcohol motor that turns 66" tires.

Tusk Concert
Tusk has been crisscrossing the country since 2008 as The Classic Fleetwood Mac Tribute band. The relationship among the five founding members of Tusk has a rich history that goes back more than four decades. Two met while playing Little League baseball. Two others met in middle school band and marched in lockstep through high school. All five have been playing music with one another over the years in various configurations of original bands, jam bands, singer-songwriter circles, and alternative rock groups. Time, trust, and close friendship have cultivated an intimate familiarity with each other’s musical nuances, shaping each performance with such precision that even the slightest variation, virtually imperceptible to all but the five musicians sharing the stage, is met with a wink and a nod, and usually an inside joke. Tusk is more than a band; they are a family.

The Volunteers from the
“West Virginia Quilt Documentation Project” will be present at the Landes Art Center to document your quilts made in or residing in West Virginia. This ongoing effort aims to preserve West Virginia’s Quilt Artistry and History for future generations.
“Volunteers from across the state will examine the quilts and record pertinent information about them and their creators. This data will be stored in the West Virginia Culture Center Archives and The Quilt Index (www.quiltindex.org),
a comprehensive national database of quilts from various regions.”
